3rd National Research Conference on Child and Family Programs and Policies
Our 3rd conference brought together over 80 people from all over the United States, as well as conference attendees and presenters from Canada, Australia, and Kanya. We held on our first pre-conference workshop, facilitated by Ms. Miriam Stein, concerning how to communicate with the media and the art of policy advocacy. We were also honored to have two nationally-known speakers on issues related to child and family policy: Safety, Permanence, Preservation: The Impact of the Adoption and Safe Families Act of 1997 From "Your Father Let You Do What?" to Healthy Co-parenting Dr. Marsha Klein Pruett, Smith College School of Social Work
